These terms cover bookings made directly through hideoutlakevilla.com. They are a general starting template — please review and adjust the specifics (deposit percentage, cancellation window, house rules) to match your actual policy before relying on them, and have them checked for Uganda-specific legal requirements if needed.

1. The booking

Hide Out Lake Villa Uganda is booked as an entire standalone property — you are not sharing the house or grounds with other guests during your stay. Submitting a booking request through the website is a request to reserve; it becomes a confirmed reservation once we contact you to confirm availability and, where applicable, payment is received.

2. Payments

Online payments are processed securely through PesaPal, an independent third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your card or mobile money details ourselves. A booking may require a deposit or full payment in advance to be confirmed; we will state the amount due when we confirm your reservation.

3. Cancellations & changes

To request a cancellation or date change, email bookings@hideoutlakevilla.com or message us on WhatsApp as early as possible.

4. Check-in & check-out

Standard check-in and check-out times will be confirmed with your booking. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, depending on the calendar.

5. House rules

The number of overnight guests may not exceed what was agreed at booking (max 12 guests).
Guests are responsible for the property during their stay and for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
No events or parties beyond what was agreed with us in advance.
Please respect neighbours — no excessive noise, especially late at night.
Smoking policy and pet policy will be confirmed at the time of booking.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the villa, pool, and grounds safe and well-maintained. Guests use the pool, garden, and outdoor areas at their own risk, and we recommend supervision of children at all times. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
